The selected contractor should have ‘extensive experience’ of office fit-out in the City.
It is looking for work to start on the 10,000 sqm premises next year and, while the exact length of contract is subject to change, it is likely to take more than a year to complete.
The successful contractor may also be required to work on smaller projects within the Bank’s other London premises.
The Bank says that the fit-out will be “to a standard commensurate with that of similar organisations that operate in the financial services industry”.
