Work will include major upgrades to water and waste water treatment works as well as schemes to improve the quality of bathing water on the east coast of Yorkshire to meet the revised Bathing Water Directive.
The two projects are the first under a new £330 million framework agreement with Yorkshire Water, in which the JV is one of four chosen partners.
Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: "We are delighted to be able to continue our longstanding relationship with Yorkshire Water with a service for their Large Schemes framework."
