A joint venture between Huyton-based JC Õ¥Ö¼§ and Warrington outfit OB Building Maintenance Services has been selected for a housing repairs contract in Merseyside worth up to £90m.
Client is housing association The Riverside Group.
Evolve, a new partnership set up by the two firms, will tackle responsive repairs and void repairs to 10,000 units of housing stock in the North Merseyside area.
Gas servicing, gas-related responsive call-outs, and planned or cyclical works, may be added to the contract at a later date.
The term partnering contract will run for a minimum duration of five years with the option to extend for up to 10 years.
The Riverside Group manages approximately 50,000 nationwide. It plans to appoint firms to handle responsive repairs and maintenance services for approximately 5,000 properties in the south-east of England and 2,600 properties in north-east England, Kingston upon Hull and North Lincolnshire.
The group also plans to appoint a contractor for the delivery of responsive repairs and void maintenance services to approximately 12,000 properties in South Merseyside.
