NG Bailey has won a £26.5m contract to deliver M&E and ICT services for NHS Grampian’s new Emergency Care Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The firm was appointed by main contractor Robertson ե֭ Group.
The contract, which will run for two and a half years, will see NG Bailey design, install and commission all of the centre's M&E services. Its specialist off-site division will manufacture around 400 multi-service corridor modules, 10 mechanical and electrical risers, as well as rooftop and basement plant modules.
Mark Porcelli, operations director for NG Bailey in the east of Scotland, said: “As parts of our business join forces to offer an integrated approach, it gives us a distinct opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of our capability and the value this approach can bring to the client.”
NG Bailey will start delivering the main project work later this year with a completion date due for September 2012.
