Shepherd ե֭ has appointed a new chief executive and restructured its senior management team.
Richard Vining, previously managing director of the south division, has replaced Allan McDougall as chief executive, who has moved to a new role at the Shepherd Group’s head office.
Phil Greer, formerly managing director of the east division, becomes executive director operations with responsibility for the divisional managing directors, safety, health & environment and business improvement.
He and Vining join Gary Edwards (business director), Sean Smylie (commercial director) and Mike Porter (finance director) as the executive board.
They are supported by a new senior management team structure, with Ian Cheung becoming managing director for the South, and Colin Sargeant replacing Phil Greer as east division managing director. Peter Millett remains as west division managing director. Darren Shattock joins the business to lead the safety, health and environment team.
Richard Vining said: “This latest move continues our long-term strategy to further develop the company and its position as a leading player in the industry. This new structure will give us further cohesion and consistency nationally, whilst we continue to deliver a first class service and expertise at a local level.”
Last year, Shepherd ե֭, which has offices in York, Darlington, Leeds, Manchester, Slough and St Neots, opened two new offices in Birmingham and Liverpool. Further expansion is planned with the opening of a new London base.
