The work involves a comprehensive redevelopment of the existing campus at 388-390 Greenwich Street.
The project will consolidate a substantial portion of Citi’s New York staff in the city into a newly updated headquarters at the company’s existing two-building complex.
Work will be carried out in three phases and the buildings on site will remain occupied throughout construction.
“We are proud to partner with Citi on such a significant and impressive redevelopment project,” said Michael Burke, Aecom chairman and chief executive officer. “Combining our expertise in both building repositioning and mission critical facilities, we look forward to transforming the Greenwich Street offices into a world-class corporate headquarters.”
Extensive preconstruction and planning works are currently under way, with four to five years of construction expected to start this year.
