The latest mixed-use project, called 13|U, will feature 129 residential units, 15,750 square feet of retail and 48 underground parking spaces near the U Street/Cardozo Metro station.
Balfour Beatty is providing construction manager at risk services for the new development. Its previous projects in the development were the Hatton, Shay and Louis developments.
The latest project is intedned to bring new market-rate and affordable housing to a resurgent, urban community. The Balfour Beatty team is planning to leverage the latest technologies and lean construction methods to deliver the project.
