The contract for the reconstruction of the Dudelange-Burange intersection has a contract value of nearly €20m (£16m) and will take four years to complete.
Client for the work is the governmental agency Administration Ponts & Chaussées. Õ¥Ö¼§ activities will be carried out by BAM Lux in joint venture with Galère, the Walloon civil engineering company of BAM.
The interchange will be reconstructed completely to improve the flow of traffic and to improve the accessibility of nearby industrial estates. BAM will demolish some older infrastructure and construct new bridges, viaducts and retaining walls. The work will include the construction of new ramps and a large roundabout.
