Tim Acland joined the staff of the association in 2002 as regional manager for London and the southeast. He will keep this role in addition to his national responsibilities.
He said: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with my colleagues across the association’s regional network in delivering existing services and in developing new services for all B&ES members.”
Mr Acland has worked in the building engineering services sector for 40 years, having previously worked for Alpha Boilers, United House and Harp Heating, among others.
B&ES is also in the process of recruiting two new regional managers to cover Southwest London and Wessex, and the West and Southwest of England.
