The university has already completed six residential blocks on the Manor Park Campus and is scheduled to complete the Campus Reception Building in April 2012.
Construction of the seventh accommodation hall, to be 5,600 square metres to house 200 students, is expected to be completed in July 2013.
A contract for a planned eighth block has still to be awarded.
