The Porter Building is a 10,700m2 (115,000 sq ft) speculative development by a joint venture partnership of Landid and Brockton Capital. Architect is TP Bennett.
Planning permission was granted in October and demolition of the existing building completed in January. Local dignitaries visited the site yesterday for a ground-breaking ceremony.
The Porter Building is due for completion in August 2017, ahead of the arrival of Crossrail in early 2019.
The Landid/Brockton partnership is currently developing three office buildings in the M4 corridor: The Charter Building in Uxbridge; Thames Tower in Reading; and now The Porter Building in Slough. Â
