AFC is nearing completion of the earlier phase, (link opens in new tab). This latest award takes the overall value of its work on the site to about £200m.
The new development is located between the current Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre and Emirates Towers in the heart of the city's central business district. The latest contract is for a 178,000m2 development that includes two office buildings of eight and twelve storeys. The technology solutions and infrastructure being planned are aligned with the Dubai Government's Smart City strategic agenda.
Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2017.
