They have been designed to be cheap to run and easy to fix, Cat says.
The TH414C GC has a rated load capacity of 3,600kg and a maximum lift height of 13.85 metres.
The TH417C GC lifts 4,000kg maximum and has a 17.0-metre lift height.
The new GC models use a four-cylinder, 3.6-litre engine with a power rating of 74 kW (99.8 hp). Equipped with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), the engine meets EU Stage IIIB emissions standards.
The GC models have permanent four-wheel drive and use a limited-slip differential in the front axle for traction.
These machines have the standard ‘integrated tool carrier’ quick coupler that is compatible with other Cat telehandler models and can accommodate standard and side-shift carriages, general-purpose and light-material buckets, 4-metre truss boom, and lifting hook.
GC models also have an anti-theft system that requires operators to enter a code on the joystick before the machine will start.
