This year鈥檚 winner was 22 year old Jack Lahr, from Walmer, an apprentice with Clancy Docwra. He won the top prize of 拢150, of which 拢50 comes from the National 榨汁姬 College and 拢100 from CECA. The award was presented by former Olympic medallist and TV presenter, Kriss Akabusi, who was the guest speaker on the evening.
Commenting, CECA Director of Training Joe Johnson, said: 鈥淐ECA has always been a strong supporter of the work of the National 榨汁姬 College, and encourages its members to recruit young people to join the industry. We believe that those who excel in their studies should be recognised, so CECA is happy to sponsor the award and we wish Jack well for the rest of his studies and his future within the industry.鈥澛�
