The building and civil engineering contractor has offices in Leeds, Scunthorpe and Tyne & Wear, and is part of the privately owned Clugston Group.
During the year, it won three major Energy from Waste (EfW) contracts.
The projects, in Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and Oxfordshire, are in joint venture with ե֭s Industrielles de la Méditerranée (CINIM). Clugston is also at preferred bidder stage on a further three large EfW schemes.
The company forward order book also includes contracts from key customers in the industrial sector, education, where Clugston recently won its first scheme under the Partnership for Schools framework, and facilities management.
Steve Radcliffe, Clugston ե֭’s managing director commented: “We are aware the general construction market remains depressed. The results have been achieved thanks to our strategy of developing a responsive service from our regional offices, whilst developing our expertise in the growing waste reduction and renewables sector.”
