ARC, comprising of Atkins and RPS, and M2, comprising MWH and Mott MacDonald, will share £120m-worth of work over the next six years.
Scottish Water’s 2015-21 investment programme will see both maintenance and improvements to pipes, pumping stations and water treatment works.
There is an option for Scottish Water to extend the agreement to 2027.
ARC chief operating officer Paul Aitken said: “Our mission is to support Scottish Water improve its service to of customers and communities across Scotland by promoting more effective, resilient and efficient asset and operational solutions.”
M2 framework director Judy Anderson added: “We are excited to be part of Scottish Water’s plans to achieve success in SR15.”
