The project is to build a new outpatient facility for ear, nose, throat and dental services. It will provide a new home for services currently provided at the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital.
It will be built on the former UCL Student Union site on Huntley Street in central London, currently occupied by a four-storey brick building. The new 9,000m2 facility will be arranged over six above-ground storeys and three basements. The project is using building information modelling (BIM) to fully design and tender the scheme, and will be the first building managed by UCLH trust using BIM.
Project manager is Riley Consulting.
The trust is looking to get construction started in February 2016 and competed two years later. Potential bidders have until 22nd may to submit their interest.
