The scope of Deeley’s work includes a new 18,500 sq ft glass complex to house a new science and technology centre, a collections house, teaching rooms and project spaces and extensive research and development facilities.
Pershore College is part of the Warwickshire College Group.
Deeley ե֭ starts work this month and is expected to take just under a year to complete.
Managing director Martin Gallagher said it was a major contract for Deeley to win.
He said: “We were thrilled to be awarded the contract for Pershore College following the tender process. Although the development itself is outside of the Warwickshire area, it is part of Warwickshire College and we are delighted that they have opted for Deeley ե֭ as a local contractor on the project.
“It’s a very exciting project from a technical point of view too so it was one we are very much looking forward to getting under way.”
The new development will enable the college to develop a centre of excellence in food production. The Skills Funding Agency has helped to fund the project.
