The new DX235LCR and DX700LC crawler excavators will be exhibited alongside the latest Doosan wheeled loader models and Doosan Moxy articulated dump trucks (ADTs).
The DX235LCR crawler excavator is with a reduced tailswing for work near buildings and in confined areas. Powered by a 6-cylinder Doosan turbocharged diesel engine providing 123kW at a maximum governed speed of 1900rpm, the DS235LCR has an operating weight of 23.6t and a maximum digging depth of 6670mm. Dump height is 7925mm, while maximum digging reach is 9821mm.
Large arm and bucket cylinders provide enhanced excavating force, the manufacturer says. Digging force over the bucket is 14.2t, while over the arm it is 10.3t. Use of power boost increases both forces by about 5%, the highest forces of any excavator in this class, Doosan claims.
The new 70t DX700LC is the largest excavator in the Doosan range, designed for heavy duty civil engineering, mining and quarrying. The long carriage (LC) design, in combination with the undercarriage expanded to its maximum working width of 4000mm, offers optimum stability and safety in all kinds of digging, lifting and loading applications, Doosan says.
To meet the requirements of different markets, three arms of varying length are available for the DX700LC. Equipped with the 4200mm arm, the DX700LC offers a maximum digging depth of 9030mm, a maximum digging height of 12,520mm, a maximum digging reach of 13,610mm and a dump height of 8660mm. The minimum swing radius is 5810mm. Buckets for the DX700LC range in capacity from 2.5 m3 to 4.5m3.
The DX700LC is powered by the 6-cylinder ‘common rail’ Isuzu AH-6WG1X turbocharged diesel engine, providing 345kW at a maximum governed speed of 1800rpm. Maximum torque is 202kg.m at 1500rpm.
