REG chief executive Andrew Whalley said: "This is the fourth consented project we have achieved in the last seven months, demonstrating the value of our in-house development team.
"We now have 24MW of consented wind capacity awaiting construction, building on the 41.15MW already operational."
REG Windpower, based in Cornwall and Bath, UK, it already operates 10 wind farms inÂ
Cambridgeshire, Cornwall, County Durham, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Gwynedd.
The other arm of the REG group is REG Bio-Power UK, based in Nottingham, which operates electricity generation plant fuelled by waste vegetable oil.
