It will maintain the building – which is in the shape of a hollow cube - for 20 years. The work includes redevelopment and modernisation of offices occupied by government ministries as well as the renovation of the facades and panoramic lifts, allowing the reopening of the top floor to the public. Eiffage will also create a roof-level walk.
Work will begin in January 2015 and the public areas will be opened at the end of 2016.
