Eiffage Õ¥Ö¼§ will lead a design and build consortium that also includes Eiffage Energie and architect Lehoux-Phily-Samaha, then Eiffage Services will operate and maintain the buildings throughout the term of the contract.
The €32.6m (£23.7m) project covers the financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the two buildings at Metz science and technology park (Technopôle de Metz). The new buildings will have a total area of 14,800m2 and will house a microstructural and mechanics of materials research laboratory and a training and research unit for maths, IT and mechanical engineering.
The new facilities will come into use in 2017.
