Under the PLN88m (£17.3m) contract, the company will build and upgrade runways, taxiways and aprons as well as sewer, electricity, lighting and fibre optic systems.
Szczecin-Goleniów Airport serves the city of Szczecin, one of the Baltic's primary ports, whose metropolitan area has a population of over 800,000.
The project includes upgrading a 2.5km section of the airport's current runway and building a parallel 2.5km taxiway and four other taxiways measuring 720m. Three aprons will be extended and the sewer, electricity and fibre optic networks will be upgraded. Area lighting systems and navigation signals will also be improved.
Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2015.
