Costco Wholesale UK has appointed JF Finnegan to undertake the design completion and construction of its new distribution depot on a 60-acre site on Dockham Way in Crick, Northampton.
Construction starts this month and is scheduled to take 36 weeks to complete. The design allows for a second phase to be built in the future.
Costco will relocate its operations at nearby Magna Park to the new purpose-built facility.
JF Finnegan has a long-standing relationship with Costco, and has already built several of its premises around the UK.
JF Finnegan managing director Gary Smith said: "We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Costco on this extensive new depot. A key factor in the development of the unit is to ensure scope for additional future development with minimal operational disruption. We are gearing up to starting work on site with completion scheduled for this summer.”
