The team, who have recently completed a green retrofit programme on the New Barracks Estate in Salford on behalf of Salix Homes, collected their award at the 2011 National Site Awards in Manchester.
Forrest’s site at the New Barracks estate was independently assessed against a range of stringent criteria including its impact on the environment and working the team’s work with the local community.
The same team won a Bronze Level National Considerate Constructors Award in 2010.
Mark Croston, director of frameworks at Forrest, said: “The standards on the New Barrack site are an example to others. The team has improved their performance year on year and their hard work has been rightly recognised with this award.”
