The new 17,600m2 four-storey building, designed by BDP, is intended to consolidate the council's existing offices in the town, saving on running costs and regenerating an area on the southside of Northampton town centre as part of the Northampton Alive initiative.
Galliford Try executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald said: "We are delighted to have been appointed to such a significant project for Northamptonshire County Council. Our presence within the East Midlands region continues to grow and we look forward to delivering high quality facilities for the council's staff and the local people accessing their services."
