One Park Square has 105,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office space over four storeys. A corporate tenant is being sought for it.
The building will be adjacent to phase two of Longbridge Town Centre, which is currently under construction. This phase includes the Midlands’ largest Marks & Spencer store and retail, restaurant and café space.
Mike Murray, senior development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “We’re very pleased that Birmingham City Council’s planning committee has followed the local authority planning officers’ recommendations to grant planning permission for One Park Square. This prime office space will create hundreds of new jobs and attract more professionals to Longbridge, adding to the thriving mixed-community we’re creating here.”
St. Modwen aims to deliver 2,000 new homes together with employment and retail facilities to support up to 10,000 jobs on the site of the former Longbridge car plant over the next 15 years.
