HLG’s scope of works involves the construction of five buildings ranging between 15 and 19 floors, featuring a hotel and serviced apartments; a ballroom, with an attached café; a marina, including four footbridges and one vehicular bridge; and hard and soft landscaping works.
Dubai International Real Estate (DIRE) is developing the AED3bn mixed-use scheme, which HLG has been working on since 2012 when the group was appointed to carry out substructure works for four basement levels and ground floor slabs on a waterside site.
“We are pleased to have been selected as DIRE’s contractor of choice, and are proud to continue our partnership with DIRE on this landmark project,” said HLG CEO and managing director José Antonio López-Monís.
Construction works on the new contract are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year and completion is targeted for Q3 2017.
