The deal includes five flagship Dynapac SD2500WS+ wheeled pavers and one SD2500CS tracked machine.
The new pavers will be used on Hanson Contracting jobs throughout the UK, including the M1 junction 16-19 surfacing works.
Atlas Copco describes its tracked paver as ideal for laying cement bound granular mixtures (CBGM), which is an area where Hanson Contracting is expanding in. Its parent company is German cement giant Heidelberg.
The new pavers feature the safe impact system, integrated levelling, and a sliding cabin deck all to improve productivity for the user. The latest generation of Dynapac pavers also have the Dynalink monitoring software, enabling owners to track machine use, condition and location.
Hanson Contracting transport manager Darren Watret said: “We’ve bought Dynapac F121s and F161s in the past and found them to be robust and reliable machines. The decision to consolidate our paver fleet with one manufacturer, Dynapac, came down to value. Dynapac’s value outweighed the competition.”
