The HCA is planning to deliver 80,000 new affordable homes across England by 2015. The first three deals cover approximately 3,500 homes.
A £39m contract with Waterloo Housing Group will deliver 1,600 new affordable homes across the midlands over the next four years.
Across the HCA’s midlands operating area, the affordable homes programme is investing more than £286m to deliver 13,500 homes over the next four years.  Successful bidders were announced on 14 July.
In Kent, a deal between the HCA and The Town and Country Housing Group (TCHG) is expected to deliver 1,136 new affordable homes by 2015, supported by an overall investment of approximately £22m from the HCA. Â
In East Anglia, the HCA has signed a deal with E2 Consortium, led by Orwell Housing Association, for 770 new affordable homes. HCA is investing £14.0m.
Across the HCA’s east and south East operational area, the Affordable Homes Programme could invest £230m for 16,000 new homes over the next four years.
