Each machine is equipped with the Trackunit Track & Trace device to combat plant theft. The system provides geo-fencing, motion alarms and remote machine disabling as well as standard usage monitoring telemetry.
The GTH-2506 offers a lifting height of up to 5.79 metres, a maximum lifting capacity of 2,500 kg and a capacity of 2,000 kg at maximum height.
“We chose the GTH-2506 telehandler for its simplicity of operation and robust, compact design which is ideal for work on sites where space is tight,” said Hewden product manager Danny Williams.
“Another important factor was the advanced telematics that come with the machines. Plant and attachment theft remains a major issue in the industry, so with these new telehandlers fitted with the latest telematics and tracking devices, we’re tackling the issue and reducing the risk of downtime for our customers,” he added.
