Based in Blantyre, Hodge Plant operates a rental fleet of more than 100 machines. It is also reckoned to be the largest used plant sales company in Scotland. It has recently moved into new larger premises, enabling it to increase the size of their service workshops and develop its spare parts facility.
Hodge has also appointed two sales people to develop the Case product line business. Tina Neil will look after the west of Scotland and Neil Mackenzie covers the eastern region.
Managing director Alistair Hodge explained the move into new machinery sales. “We’ve been looking for about two years now for a premium brand of construction equipment and Case certainly fits this category,” he said.
“Case has a very loyal following in Scotland and we are delighted to be taking that forward. Our aim is to look after existing customers and to build on the success of the Case brand.”
