The project  sees the contractor demolish an existing two-storey building and erect a three-storey steel frame structure, designed to incorporate a mansard roof and brick façade to blend seamlessly with the adjacent buildings.
A contiguous piling foundation system will be used at the front and rear of the building, with properties at either end underpinned as part of the temporary works package.
This will enable ISG Jackson to form a basement structure with a plant room and ancillary accommodation. A car stacker system for four cars will be installed at ground floor level and the upper three floors feature majority open plan office accommodation, with roof lights and extensive glazing at second floor level.
The project is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2011.Â
