ISG is looking to develop a supply chain of local businesses to work with it on projects associated with its £22 million, four year capital build framework with Cleveland Fire Authority. The contractor is looking to procure a high proportion of the materials and trade packages required to deliver these projects from locally-based specialist firms.
The breakfast meeting will be held on Thursday 6th March at Hartlepool College of Further Education, from 8.00am to 10.30am. There will be presentations from ISG, Cleveland Fire Authority and Hartlepool College of Further Education.
Alan McCarthy-Wyper, managing director of ISG’s ե֭ business, said: “This event provides an excellent opportunity for high-quality local construction trade specialists to learn more about the opportunities associated with this major regional framework. A key element of the day is exploring the wealth of skills, training and apprenticeship opportunities we will look to create over this four year period, providing a long-lasting skills legacy that will not only benefit the local Hartlepool economy, but also the wider construction industry.”
