The contract for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation involves the design, installation and start-up the environmental control and ventilation systems. Isolux Corsan will carry out the project in a joint venture with Indian mechanical, electrical and plumbing services company Sterling & Wilson.
The company is also working on electrification projects and the construction of the two traction substations that are part of the extension of line 5 and 3 city subway.
The ventilation contract, which has a budget of €4m, (£3.2m) covers the implementation of the technology in a total of six train stations:- Janakpuri West, Dabri Mor, Dashrathpuri, Palam, IGD Airport and Najafgarh - which are under construction. The project is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
