The contract with the US state covers a range of on-call engineering and operations services in support of the agency's capital rail improvement programme and other rail projects. It has a maximum value of US$7m over the three-year term, with an option to extend the duration and increase the value of the contract.
Under the terms of the WSDoT contract, Jacobs will provide a variety of services in areas including rail engineering, planning, operations support, equipment evaluation and procurement, programme and project management, construction management and inspection and cost/benefit analysis.
