Kier has won the East 2 and North East 2 batches, each worth approximately £60m.
The North West 3 batch has been won by Interserve.
The defeated shortlisted bidders were Wates in East 2 and BAM Constrcution in North East 2, while Interserve defeated Kier in North West 3.
The East of England 2 batch is for six schools in Essex, Hertfordshire, Peterborough, Suffolk, valued at £60m in total.
The North East 2 batch is for six schools in Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees, Sunderland, valued at £63m in total.
North West 3 is for six school projects in Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Tameside, valued at £48m in total.
These three are among 12 batches of schools in the Priority Schools Building Programme that are being funded using capital grant. These will be delivered using the Department for Education’s contractors’ framework.
