The new St Wilfrid’s Hospice building in Bosham will provide modern facilities with piped oxygen available all 18 ensuite rooms.
The rooms will be bigger – more than 9m2 bigger – and facilities better than in the old hospice in Donnington.
St Wilfrid’s chief executive Alison Moorey said: “The current hospice has served the local community for the last 30 years. However, we have now outgrown our much-loved site in Donnington. The new hospice will give the local community high quality services and skills to deliver the very best end of life care for patients and their loved ones for the next 30 years and beyond. We look forward to working with Kier with their experience in delivering projects in the health sector.”
Trevor White, regional operations director for Kier ե֭ said: “We’re delighted to be working with St.Wilfrid’s Hospice to provide the local community with high quality care facilities. Kier has extensive experience in the delivery of acute, mental health and primary care facilities, and our extensive regional network enables us to provide nationwide, local coverage. “
Completion is scheduled for late 2018.
