It has a net horsepower of 93.5hp (69.7kW), powered by a Komatsu SAA4D95LE-6 engine.
Lift capacity and stability are comparable to a conventional excavator, Komatsu says, but its uses a contoured cab design that allows the cab to swing within the same swing radius as the counterweight.
Other new Dash 10 machines unveiled at Bauma this week include the PW180-10 wheeled excavator (pictured below). This 18-tonne class machine boasts improved productivity with good stability and a high lifting capacity, Komatsu says, as well as increased operator comfort, simplified maintenance, and an average fuel consumption reduced by 10%.
