The London Borough of Harrow is taking the lead but hopes that neighbouring Brent will join in to reduce duplication and gain economies of scale.
The works package is divided in civil engineering, electrical works and surfacing works.
Over the course of the seven years of the contract, civil engineering work on highways in the two boroughs is worth up to £92.6m. The surfacing work is worth up to £25.4m. The electrical work is for Harrow only and worth up to £10.5m over the term, which starts 1 April next year.
