The council is seeking ‘innovative private sector providers to invest in, develop and provide a range of housing repair and maintenance services through strategic partnering arrangement’.
It is keeping its options open whether to divide the contract into two: for north and south of the borough, or just have a single contractor.
Work is responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance works. The contract(s) is/are proposed to start in 2013 for an initial 10 year term, with an option to extend for a further 5 years.
