The firm has won two European Union-funded project preparation facility contracts with a total value of more than €12m. As I result, it has consolidated its Belgrade-based business and relocated both administrative and project staff to a larger office space 3km southwest of the city’s downtown area.
Louis Berger has worked in the region for more than 30 years and continues to grow its presence there at a steady pace, said  Slav Marjanovic, the firm’s vice president for Eastern Europe.
The new office is atop a hill overlooking the entire city and the Ada Bridge, a Serbian landmark for which Louis Berger provided project management and engineering services during construction. The single-pylon, cable-stayed bridge over the Sava River connects old Belgrade with the city’s new commercial and residential zones north of the river.
