Lovell wins £9m Haringey refurb deal

5 Jul 12 Lovell has been given a £9m contract to refurbish council houses in the London borough of Haringey.

The contract was awarded by Homes for Haringey, the arm’s-length management organisation that manages Haringey Council’s housing stock.

The year-long programme will see the Lovell team carrying out improvements to 1,500 homes in the north London borough, both inside and out. Refurbishment includes the installation of new windows and roofs, concrete repair work and external decoration. The contract was awarded to Lovell through a competitive tendering process.

“We first began helping Homes for Haringey improve its housing stock in 2008 and are delighted to have been awarded this latest phase of refurbishment work,” said Lovell regional director Peter Taylor.

“We are pleased to offer Lovell the opportunity to continue their excellent track record of improving the housing stock in Haringey,” said Homes for Haringey director Keith Carter.
