Regional director Nigel Yates said: “We are delighted to be using our expertise in housing refurbishment to work with residents and First Choice Homes Oldham to help deliver the second phase of this important housing improvement programme. In addition to transforming homes, we are committed to creating a lasting legacy through the creation of local job and training opportunities and by offering help and support for community organisations and groups locally.”
FCHO was previously an arm’s length management organisation, set up in 2002 to manage the council’s homes. It is now an independent housing association.
