This final phase is being solely funded by Central Sussex College, and represents a significant and long-term investment in the young people of Mid Sussex by the College.
Work started on site at the end of July, and will see the addition of state-of-the-art new facilities including: science laboratories; classrooms; a music suite; learning resource and IT centre; four court sports hall; plus a new reception and food court area. Work is expected to be completed in January 2013.
College principal, Dr Russell Strutt said: "The redevelopment of the Haywards Heath campus has been a key priority for Central Sussex College, since it was created in 2005. Through the first two phases, completed in 2008, we have been able to improve the student experience, broaden the curriculum on offer and increase capacity."
