The project has been procured through the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Framework.
Designed by award-winning architects Jestico + Whiles the new three-storey school will accommodate 1,050 pupils and will transform secondary education in the borough, raising education standards through well designed, multipurpose buildings with state-of-the-art learning environments. The development will achieve a “Very Good” BREEAM rating.
The school is currently split across two sites, this contract will enable the whole school to be located in one place.
Work is due to start on site this month and is expected to complete in September 2012.
