McAleer & Rushe is already working on a £26m contract to design and build two hotels near Aberdeen airport. It is the first in what is expected to be a series of phased contracts to build out a development programme of hotels for Dominvs (sic) across the UK.
Next month the contractor is expected to start a £25m contract to construct of a 306-bedroom Holiday Inn on Aytoun Street in Manchester. Piling work has already been completed at the site. McAleer & Rush was selected for this contract a year ago. ()
This will be followed by a contract for McAleer & Rushe to convert the Grade II-listed Tower Bridge Magistrates Court in Tooley Street, London SE1, into a 200-bedroom hotel.
Further projects in London and Oxford are planned.
