The development of 86 units around a communal hub is being built on fields once owned by Titchfield Abbey, near Fareham. It is being called Friary Meadow.
The developer is Oak Retirement, which was set up by Stephen Ladyman, who was Member of Parliament for South Thanet from 1997 until 2010, a health minister in Tony Blair’s government, and subsequently transport minister.
The scheme, designed by Marchese Partners, comprises 28 bungalows and 58 apartments, together with communal facilities and an overall scheme gross internal area of 9,983 square metres.
Completion of Friary Meadow is scheduled for 2018.
