The yet-to-be named company will manage 1,323 buildings owned by Worcestershire County Council, Worcester City Council, Redditch Borough Council, Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service, Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police.
The authorities behind the move expect to save, collectively, £58m over the next 10 years through economies of scale.
Services to be delivered by the company include asset management, facilities management, management of major outsourced services, energy management, and management of design and development work.
The joint property company concept has been developed as part of the One Public Estate Programme, which is funded by the Government Property Unit (GPU) and designed to help councils across England be more efficient.
Warwickshire police & crime commissioner Ron Ball said: “We intend to provide a national model of best practice, which can be adopted by other public sector organisations to deliver efficient, streamlined and cost-effective asset management services.”
