The building will step up from five- to 10-storeys and is arranged around a central courtyard to maximise natural light.
The contract for Gladedale Ventures builds on McAlpine’s previous work on the site, which includes the delivery of the development’s flagship No1 Quartermile Square as well as a number of commercial and residential buildings.
The 19-acre Quartermile development, on the site of Edinburgh’s former Royal Infirmary, is one of Scotland’s largest regeneration schemes. It will eventually provide more than 900 apartments and 40,000m2of office, retail and leisure space.
